As these days all the participants of Eurovision 2017 are flying to the Ukrainian capital for the world’s biggest music event, the Armenian hopeful for 2017 Artsvik gave a press conference for the local press and media and shed more light on her forthcoming Eurovision participation.
“I want to make my country proud of me“
Artsvik stated that she was hesitating to make a decision for taking part at Eurovision. Before winning the Armenian national final in December 2016 and during her performance she couldn’t even think that she would be the Armenian entrant in May. Today and just a little bit before her departure to Kyiv, she says:
Ultimately, I thought it would be better to go after your dreams. Now I’m living my dream. Me and my team will do our best to represent Armenia properly. Apparently, I want to perform well to make my country proud of me.
According to her statements, she didn’t have enough time to enjoy all the other songs of the contest and to decide about her favourites.
Artsvik’s song is called Fly with me and you can check it out here on its official music video:
The singer also posted a photo of her in Yerevan enjoying her last day there before Eurovision:
