Albania: Olta and Kejsi win special awards at Kënga Magjike

Kënga Magjike, one of the main musical events in Albania took place on 21st of November in Pallati i Kongresit in Tirana. Olta Boka (Albania 2008) and Kejsi Tola Albania (2009) both won prizes.

Kënga Magjike is one of the biggest musical events in Albania and it attracts many famous Albanian artists from all over the world. In total, there were more then 500 songs submitted this year. Only 46 made it to the semi finals. From both semi finals only 22 qualified for the final. Olta Boka and Kejsi Tola did qualify for the final. Olta Boka came 9th in ranking with 376 points and won the ‘AMC prize’, the sponsor prize.

Kejsi Tola received only 205 points and didn’t reach top 10 but she won the First Magic prize, the Best Newcomer's award of the festival.

The duo Rosela Gjylbegu (runner-up FiK 2006) & Eliza Hoxha won Kënga Magjike 2009.
