With the song Engel (angel), Rasmus Seebach is presently placed 2nd in the Danish charts. The 29 years old musician is one of the three children of Tommy Seebach, three times representative at the Eurovision Song Contest, who passed away 6 years ago.

At the end of the 90s, Rasmus and his brother Nicolai called themselves G-Bach and recorded a first CD under the title Skatmat. In the early 2000s, they created their own studio and production firm, TopNotchMusic. They not only worked for Danish artists but also wrote some material with Robbie Nevil and Simon Chapman for foreign names.TopNotchMusic website has a special RIP page on father Seebach, as a tribute, with the last picture taken of him, just days before he passed awat (here).

As for Rasmus, Engel is his debut single as a soloist and should be followed this fall by a CD album. Tommy Seebach represented Denmark on three occasions. First of all in Jerusalem where Disco Tango reached the 6th place. Two years after,, in Dublin, Kroeller eller ej, performed with Debbie Cameron, placed 11th. For his second trip to Ireland, back in 1993, Tommy was not as lucky. Under stjernerne pa himlen couldnt do better than 22nd.
