The 2012 Eurovision winner Loreen returns in the race for a ticket to the contest. Last Saturday she performed at the 4th and last semi-final of the Swedish national competition Melodifestivalen, qualifying to the Andra Chansen (Second Chance) round which is scheduled to be held tonight in Linköping.

The Second Chance round consists of 4 duels and the winner of each duel progresses to the final. Loreen and her song Statements will battled against Anton Hagman and his entry Kiss you goodbye for the ticket to the grand final on 11 March.

You can watch below Loreen’s performance in the 4th semi-final of Melodifestivalen:

Loreen’s changes

The Eurovision winner is making some small changes in her performance tonight, as she stated in her interview to Sveriges Television (SVT). The first one is that a more dramatic lighting will be added to the first part of the song, while dancing with the young girl and the feeling is going to be like running in a forest.

The other point of the performance that will be reviewed, is that the staging will be less dark and there will be more contact between Loreen and the dancers. She said in her interview that too much darkness combined with her long black hair is a little hyperbolic when the performance can be more expressive. Loreen declared that the atmosphere and the feeling of the performance will be very positive.

When asked about her feelings for tonight, she said that she is very nervous for Saturday, but feels she is in the right direction after last Saturday’s result, she loves her team and is confident of the result and outcome.

Loreen has  posted a video for her fans on her official Instagram profile whilst preparing for tonight’s performance.

Thank you all for the Love and support. Blessed to get to sing my song for you on Saturday. ❤️ #statements
