It’s finally here! Hovig’s and Cyprus’s entry and music video for the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest has been officially unveiled this evening. Check them out!

Excitement surrounding the Cypriot entry for the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest has been building in recent weeks following numerous sneak peeks of the country’s entry for the competition, Gravity.

From song title teasers to lyric previews, music video shoots to single snippets, Hovig has now released his official entry for the Kyiv-hosted competition in full, together with the specially-filmed music video.

Listen to Gravity!

Earlier today saw the full version of Gravity making rounds online following an online leak of the entry. However, the entry has now been officially presented together with the music video which you can now watch and listen to!

As was confirmed earlier this year, Gravity has been composed and produced solely by the man behind 12 official Eurovision entries to date, including Cyprus’s 2016 entry Alter ego as well as Sweden’s winning 2012 entry Euphoria, Thomas G:son.

The official Gravity music video, recorded and edited last month, was filmed by video director Aimilio Avraam featuring assistance from photographer Sofroni Sofroniou, costume director Noti Panagiotou and artistic director Charis Savva.

Appearing alongside Hovig in the official music video is professional dancer Natalia Michail, both of whom perform a contemporary piece throughout the clip.

Cyprus at Eurovision 2017

Hovig will compete in the second half of the first semi-final on the 9 May in a bid to bring Cyprus their third consecutive qualification to the final of Eurovision 2017 on the 13 May.
