In an official statement from Dutch broadcaster AVROTROS, O’G3NE has revealed that they indeed have chosen their 2017 Eurovision entry, with details about the presentation of the song and information about their preparation for the Eurovision Song Contest 2017.
Following the allocation draw for the Semi-Finals of this years’ Eurovision Song Contest in Kyiv, in which O’G3NE will perform in the first half of Semi-Final 2, the talented sisters Lisa, Amy and Shellley Vol gave an official statement via broadcaster AVROTROS regarding their Eurovision entry:
We really want to bring the title to the Netherlands. To achieve that, we ultimately have to win from everybody else, so it doesn’t matter who we will meet on the path that leads there. We rely on our own power and are busy gathering the right team for all aspects around us.
After an extensive selection procedure, we recently know with which song we will represent the Netherlands in Kyiv. We are very enthusiastic and momentarily busy in the studio, to turn the demo into an unequalled production. In the beginning of March we will proudly present our entry.
The original statement, in Dutch, may be read via the official AVROTROS site.
