Officials from the City of Stockholm have arrived in Kyiv in order to hold meetings with NTU and the City of Kyiv for the organization of the upcoming 2017 Eurovision Song Contest. Representatives from the EBU will also be flying to the Ukrainian capital to check out the preparations for the forthcoming contest.

Officials from the City of Stockholm and the EBU will meet NTU and the 2017 Eurovision Committee this week and give feedback and information on how Stockholm organized the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest. Together they will develop a plan of action for the 2017 Eurovision venue, Euroclub and Eurovision Village. They will also discuss the transport in the city, security, accomondation etc. They will also visit the IEC and the potential venues and premises for ESC 2017.

The City of Stockholm excelled in organizing the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest with SVT and showcased an extraordinary show. Stockholm gained much fame and exposure during the Eurovision weeks highlighting its essence and showcasing its attractions worldwide.

The 2017 Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to be held on 9, 11 and 13 May at the IEC in Kyiv, Ukraine.
