When you come to Stockholm for ESC, you will be able to experience the Eurovision atmosphere and ambiance with your senses through the Citydressing. You will feel, touch, smell, hear and see Eurovision when you come to Stockholm!
Creativity and playfulness have been important factors for the Citydressing for the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest. The city center will be decorated, for more than one sense.

Jesper Ackinger (COO Stockholm Business Region and Executive City Project Manager Eurovision Song Contest) comments:
The city’s ambition is to create visibility, but also the pride, commitment and recognition in the urban environment. As the Eurovision Song Contest is a musical event, we wanted to complement the visual senses with sound installations in some places.
It will be an impressive sight with Eurovision Decorations along Götgatan from Slussen to Skanstull. This way we will also tie together the events in the Globe Arena district to the festival area Eurovision Village in Kungsträdgården, which was something we aspired.
You will be able to experience the Citydressing at the following spots/places: Stockholm City Hall, the main shopping streets Drottninggatan, Kungsgatan and Biblioteksgatan, The Eurovision Village in Kungsträdgården, Skeppsbron, along Götgatan on Södermalm and also in the Globe Arena district. Stockholm Arlanda Airport, the airport shuttles and the metro will also be dressed for the event.
The Countdown Flower on Norrmalmstorg is part of the sound and lighting decoration program for the event. The area around Norrmalmstorg and Kungsträdgården will offer various sound installations.
The City of Stockholm is working round the clock in order to showcase the very best of its hospitality and bring about a magnificent Eurovision experience for its visitors when the Eurovision lands in the majestic Swedish capital.
The 2016 Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to be held on 10, 12 and 14 May at the Globe Arena in Stockholm.
