On Thursdsay April 7 2016, Douwe Bob shot his official Eurovision postcard in his hometown, Amsterdam. The artist, who will represent the Netherlands at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm, Sweden, is shown in a style that reflects the theme of his Eurovision-entry, Slow down.

Shot in Amsterdam, the postcard will feature Douwe Bob as he walks through the busy streets of his beloved hometown, relaxing at his favourite bar while playing pool, yet also finding peace and tranquility in the immediate vicinity of the city: going to the park and enjoying his hobby, riding on horseback.

The postcard tells a story that fits within the theme of Douwe Bob’s 2016 Eurovision-entry, Slow down, a song partly inspired by friends of the artist that suffered from burnout-symptoms at a young age. Slow down is a manifesto to take care of ourselves and simply enjoy the wonders of life.
