Douwe Bob, who will represent the Netherlands at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm, Sweden, will host his own bar in the city during Eurovision 2016.
Douwe Bob has experience in hosting informal, acoustic musical meetings in the setting of a real live bar: he regularly opens his Fool Bar, located in his home in Amsterdam, for public musical sessions. Fool bar is also the title of Douwe Bob’s forthcoming latest album, that will feature his 2016 Eurovision entry, Slow down.
Moreover, the Dutch artist will bring his concept of the musical bar with him to Stockholm! As the singer revealed on his official Facebook-page:

Douwe Bob Posthuma (Amsterdam, 1992) is the son of painter, designer and former member of the band The Fool, Simon “Seemon” Posthuma, and former professional dancer Ellen Benard. The young artist rose to fame when he won the first edition of the talent show De Beste Singer-Songwriter van Nederland (The Best Singer-Songwriter of The Netherlands) in 2012.
Douwe Bob has released two albums, Born in a storm and Pass it on, both to critical acclaim. Winning many awards, Douwe Bob is considered to be one of the rising stars of the Dutch music scene. His latest album, Fool bar, will be released in May 2016, and will also feature his 2016 Eurovision entry, Slow down.
Douwe Bob will perform Slow down during semi-final 1 of the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm, on May 10, from position 6.
