Today, the Cypriot national broadcaster, CyBC, along with the 2016 Cypriot representatives, Minus One, have confirmed that Sacha Jean-Baptiste has been appointed as the Artistic Director behind this year’s entry.

Working closely with the Cypriot Eurovision delegation alongside Minus One themselves, Sacha Jean-Baptiste will be in charge of staging the 2016 Cypriot entry at the Eurovision Song Contest next month and will help to deliver a memorable live performance for the band and nation.

Jean-Baptiste has gained extensive experience over her years of working as a choreographer, having worked with a number of television shows including both Swedish Idol and the X Factor Sweden to name a few.

As well as television shows, Jean-Baptiste has also worked hard to create numerous unforgettable stage and tour performances for a number of well-established Swedish artists, including Eurovision 2013 interval act Darin as well as Sweden’s 2012 Eurovision representative and eventual winner, Loreen.

Minus One was announced as Cyprus’ 2016 Eurovision representatives back in November following an internal selection by the Cypriot national broadcaster. With their entry Alter ego, Minus One will compete in the first semi-final on the 10 May in a bid to qualify to Saturday’s grand final on the 14 May.
