The 2016 Italian entry Nessun grado di separazione has surpassed more than 10.5 million views on Youtube. The song has gone viral in Italy since it was performed at the 2016 Sanremo Song Festival and came 2nd in the grand final. Will Francesca bring back the Eurovision grand prix to Italian soil for the 3rd time?

Francesca Michielin will defend the Italian coloneurs at the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest with her entry Nessun Grado di Separazione. She will perform the biligual version version of her entry No degree of separation  on stage in Stockholm. The young talented artist has gained much fame and name in her homeland since her participation at the Italian song festival.

Francesca’s entry has gained more than 10, 539 views on her official Youtube channel and counting.. We will have to wait and see if this the song will also get such a warm welcome at the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest.

Francesca Michielin was given the grand honour of defending the Italian colours at the Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm, after the winners of Sanremo 2016, Studio declined the invitation to compete in the event. The 2016 Italian Eurovision entry is now available on Itunes and Spotify.
