Jamie-Lee Kriewitz who will represent Germany in the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm has been recently interviewed on the Guten Morgen Niedersachsen program on FFN radio.

During the interview, Jamie-Lee revealed that she takes her musical and visual inspiration from K-Pop, Korean pop music, which also inspired her outfit and videoart for the German national selection. As they were well accepted by the German audience, they will likely remain about the same for the Eurovision Song Contest.

Jamie-Liee’s favourite band is Block B, as we could also see at the greeting she sent to the Macedonian viewers during the song presentation of Kaliopi (picture above).

Block B’s hit Nillili Mambo (닐리리 맘보) from their second album Blockbuster, released in October 2012

Lena-Meyer Landrut, who won Eurovision for Germany in 2010, is a role model for Jamie-Lee. “She brought her uniqueness to the stage and simply did her thing. I am going to do the same myself!”, she says.

As a big five country, Germany is already qualified to the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 that will be held on 14 May.
