German broadcaster NDR has revealed the names of the 10 candidates who will battle for the golden ticket to Stockholm at the forthcoming 2016 German Eurovision national final- Unser Lied für Stockholm.

Germany will select its Eurovision act and entry via a televised show aired live on Thursday 25 February at 20:15 CET on ARD Das Erste. The 2016 German national final will be held in Cologne and will be hosted by Barbara Schöneberger . Unser Lied für Stockholm will be co-produced by Brainpool TV and NDR. The 2016 German entry will be selected via televoting consisting of 2 rounds. A total of 10 acts will battle for the golden ticket to Stockholm:

• Avantasia- Mystery of a blood red rose
  
• Alex Diehl-  Nur ein lid
  
• Ella Endlich- Adrenalin
  
• Gregorian- Masters of chant
  
• Jamie-Lee Kriewitz- Ghost
  
• Joco- Full moon
  
• Keøma-  Protected
  
• Laura Pinski- Under the sun we are one
  
• Luxuslärm- Solange Liebe in mihr wohnt
  
• Woods of Birnam- Lift me up (From the underground)
  

The 2016 Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to be held on 10, 12 and 14 May at the Globen Arena in Stockholm, Sweden.
