With just under 2 weeks left to apply, the City of Stockholm is looking for a number of volunteers to help assist at the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest.
From applying as a volunteer at the Globen Arena to becoming a delegation host, the City of Stockholm is currently searching for enthusiastic volunteers with a passion for the Swedish host city to help create a magical and welcoming experience for the delegations, journalists and fans attending the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest, many of which will be visiting the city for the first time.
Between the 1 May to the 15 May, volunteers will assist with a number of varied tasks and activities within the city of Stockholm to help the visitors receive a memorable experience. Volunteers will provide assistance in 3 main sections; the Globen Arena, the city of Stockholm (including both the Eurovillage as well as the Euroclub) and both the Arlanda and Bromma airports.
Volunteers can also apply to become a delegation host who will help to assist the 43 visiting delegations. Applicants must be able to speak the language of the delegation they’re apply to host and should have good knowledge of Stockholm.
