The Polish entry for the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest will be selected this evening in the country’s national final, Krajowe Eliminacje 2016. Which of tonight’s 9 competitors will win the public televote and go on the represent the nation at the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest?

Hosted by Artur Orzech at the TVP Headquarters in Warsaw, a total of 9 acts will compete in tonight’s Polish national final, Krajowe Eliminacje 2016, in a bid to represent the country at the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest. The 2016 Polish representative will be decided 100% via a public televote.

Performing as a special guest in tonight’s national final is Poland’s former representative, Andrzej Piaseczny (Piasek), who previously represented the nation at the 2001 contest with the entry 2 long.

Krajowe Eliminacje 2016 is the country’s first national final since 2011 when Magdalena Tul was chosen to represent the nation with her entry Jestem. Following Magdalena’s participation in which she finished in last place in the first semi-final, receiving a total of 18 points, the country took a 2-year break from the competition and going on to make a return in 2014.

Since Poland’s return to the Eurovision Song Contest, the Polish national broadcaster TVP has opted to select the country’s representatives via an internal selection; Donatan & Cleo (2014, 14th place in grand final) and Monika Kuszyńska (2015, 23rd place in grand final). Who would you like to see win Krajowe Eliminacje 2016 and go on to represent Poland at the upcoming competition?
