This evening, the Ukrainian act for the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest will be selected in the final of the country’s national selection.

Hosted by Dmytro Tankovich and Oleksandr Pedan, the 6 finalists who qualified from the semi-final stage of the event will perform their entries to the public once again in a bid to represent Ukraine at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest.

A 50/50 combined public and jury vote will determine the upcoming Ukrainian representative, with the public and jury both ranking each of the entries from 1 point (the lowest amount) up to 6 points (the highest amount). In the event of a tie, the act in the tie-break with the highest amount of points from the televote will win the selection and become the nation’s next Eurovision entry.

As with the semi-final shows, the Ukrainian jury will consist of 3 members; composer and producer Konstantin Meladze, Ukraine’s 2004 representative and winner Ruslana and Andriy Danylko who represented Ukraine in 2007 as Verka Serduchka.
