The Belgian singer featured in a charity event in Charleroi. The radio station that sponsored the event exchanged impressions with the artist before his performance… and some forthcoming projects and details were unveiled…

When Loïc Nottet participated for Belgium in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 he changed the perception of quite a few about Eurovision. For him life has changed too. It is not like he was a complete unknown figure in Belgium, but his performance inVienna and his first single have spread his name further beyond.

Loïc went on to help change the lives of others for the better with his participation in the charity event Viva for Life, conducted by the Belgian radio station Vivacité and which took place last Tuesday in Charleroi, Belgium. As we learn through lavenir.be, the singer offered the audience a new version of his Eurovision entry Rhythm inside on the stage of Viva for Life accompanied only by the notes of a piano.

Before the show, the singer had a talk before the microphones of Vivacité to say that it was important to him to be there because this is where I was born and it is an important cause. One child out of four living in poverty is a lot.

Album hopefully in 2016

The talk to Vivacité gave the Eurovision participant to talk about his current projects and his future plans. Of course, there is an album in the making. As Loïc himself said, it takes time because it’s an album that I wanted to make in an intelligent manner, with a real story, with characters… The songs are being completed step by step, so we expect to launch it in the first half of 2016. I didn’t want to do just anything. I wanted to tell something in the album.

We´re looking forward to hearing more…
