Amaury Vassili, the young tenor who represented France in Düsseldorf with Sognu, is making a step further into pop music with the release of a new album titled Chansons populaires supported by the single J’ai encore rêvé d’elle.

Only a year after the release of the successful tribute album Amaury Vassili chante Mike Brant (more than 180,000 copies sold) and just a few days before the start of brand new tour, Amaury Vassili unveils the album Chansons populaires, another tribute album dedicated to popular French songs from the 1970s.

Performed in duet with Belgian actress and singer Barbara Opsomer, the first single J’ai encore rêvé d’elle is a cover of a massive hit originally performed by French band Il était une fois back in 1975.
