Trijntje Oosterhuis, who represented The Netherlands at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna, Austria, will give a special concert honouring one of her musical heroes, Stevie Wonder.

Trijntje Oosterhuis has a special bond with famous artist Stevie Wonder, as he is one of her musical inspirations, and she has already dedicated an entire live-album to him, For Once In My Life (1999, platinum status). Now, the Dutch diva of soul will give a special concert, entirely dedicated to the repertoire of Stevie Wonder.

Together with the Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw, Trijntje Oosterhuis will perform A Tribute To Stevie Wonder, part of the Robeco SummerNights.

The A Tribute To Stevie Wonder-concert with Trijntje Oosterhuis will be held on the 4th of July 2015, from 20.00 to 22.20 CET, in the Grote Zaal (Grand Hall), venue Het Concertgebouw, location Concertgebouwplein 10, 1071 LN, Amsterdam.

Trijntje Oosterhuis (Amsterdam, 1973,), on of the most beloved Dutch female artists, represented the Netherlands at the 60th Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna, Austria, with the song Walk Along, written by her good friend Anouk (Eurovision 2013).

Unfortunately, Trijntje Oosterhuis did not make it to the grand final, achieving a 14th place overall out of 16 participants in semi-final 1, with 33 points. Taking the split jury/televote-results into account, Trijntje Oosterhuis came in 5th place with the jury’s, but only 15th place with the televoters.
