The 2015 Icelandic representative Maria Olafs has recorded a special message for you! She would like you to follow her and the latest on Iceland and the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest on ESCToday! The young Icelandic Eurovision hopeful filmed the video message specially for ESCToday in her native Iceland with the beautiful mountains and landscape in the backdrop.
Maria Olafs won the 2015 Icelandic Eurovision final with her entry Unbroken. She will represent Iceland at the 2015 Eurovision Contest. Iceland will compete in the Second Semi-final of the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest on 21 May.
Iceland debuted in the Eurovsion Song Contest in 1986 and is yet to win the event. The country achieved its best placing in the competition in 1999 Selma and 2010 with Yohanna, when it came 2nd.
The 2015 Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to be held on 19, 21 and 23 May at the Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna, Austria.
