40 countries will be taking part in the 60th Eurovision Song Contest which will be held in Vienna on 19, 21 and 23 May. The next country to be introduced is Belarus. Singing for Belarus this year are Uzari and Maimuna.

Yuri Navrotsky uses the stage name of Uzari. He was born in May 1991 in the Belarusian capital of Minsk. He is following in the family tradition as they are all musical.
He was formally educated at the National Music College with his speciality being choral conducting. During his studies he also performed on stage with his first major role being the lead in the Tender Queen musical staged by the Saint Petersburg based Music Hall State Theater. He was also the lead singer in the True Jazz Band.
In 2013 he graduated from the Saint Petersburg State University of Culture and Arts where he majored in pop and jazz singing.
Uzari took part in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 in Düsseldorf as a backing singer for Anastasia Vinnikova who sang I love Belarus. In 2012 and 2013 was in the Belarus National Finals. He came 5th and 8th respectively.
He is a well known singer, song writer and arranger who used his skills for their Junior Eurovision Song Contest entry Sokal, in 2014
Maimuna Amadu Murasjko was born in May 1980 in Saint Petersburg, Russia. When she was young, her family moved to Mali in West Africa but the extreme heat did not suit her so she was raised by her grandmother in Mogilev, Belarus.
It was her grandmother who brought her to a music school and that was the start of a lifetime playing the violin. Her studies took her to the Mogilev State College of Arts and the Belarusian State Academy of Music.
She has won awards at a high level including at international contests. In 1999 she was awarded by the Belarus President Special Fund and became the first violin and concertmaster in the Viktor Babarikin Presidential Orchestra.
Her career is predominantly playing classical crossover. One of her recordings is a tribute to her favourite artist, Michael Jackson.
