Conchita Wurst, who represented Austria at the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest, is set to perform at the UN headquarters in Vienna next week.
Taking place on Monday 3 November at the UN headquarters in Vienna, Conchita Wurst will be performing in front of the UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon as well as a number of UN staff members, diplomats and invited guests. Conchita, along with the UN Secretary-General, will also speak at the event where she will talk about respect and tolerance along with issues regarding sexual identity and same-sex relationships. In a statement, Ban Ki-moon said;
Everyone should enjoy the same fundamental rights and live a full and dignified life without discrimination.
