Eurovision 2019: Florian Wieder to design the stage in Tel Aviv

We know the 2019 Eurovision host city and the slogan, but what about the stage? Who will design next year’s ESC stage? Florian Wieder will be the man behind the Eurovision stage in Tel Aviv.

The cat is out the bag! The name of the 2019 Eurovision stage designer has been confirmed! The news broke last night when reports emerged in the Israeli media stating that the Israeli national broadcaster, KAN, had selected Florian Wieder to design the Eurovision stage in Tel Aviv.

Neither KAN or the EBU have made any official announcements regarding the 2019 Eurovision stage and its designer.

ESCToday  decided to investigate further and contacted Florian Wieder in order to shed more light on the matter and verify if these reports were legitimate. Florian confirmed to ESCToday that he will be designing the 2019 Eurovision stage in Tel Aviv.

Florian Wieder is back in action and will be responsible to develop the Eurovision stage design for the 6th time. The multi talented internationally acclaimed stage designer will be behind the Eurovision stage for a third consecutive year.

The 2019 Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to be held on 14, 10 and 18 May at the Expo Tel Aviv in Tel Aviv, Israel.
