KAN, the Israeli national broadcaster, and the EBU have unveiled the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest slogan.

The slogan for the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest will be: Dare to Dream.

EBU’s Eurovision Song Contest Executive Supervisor Mr. Jon Ola Sand met Mr. Benjamin Netenhayu (Israeli Prime Minister) today in order to discuss the ongoing preparations for the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv.

Mr. Sand revealed some interesting highlights regarding the story behind the 2019 Eurovision slogan.

Mr. Jon Ola Sand says:

This aspirational tag line represents and symbolises everything that the Eurovision Song Contest is about. It’s about inclusion. It’s about diversity. It’s about unity.

Being on that stage, daring to dream you can win the Eurovision Song Contest, be brave enough, be confident enough, standing there performing for a world audience is something that is worth the dream.

This is what Netta did last year, when she performed in Lisbon. She went on that stage with a dream — a dream to bring the Eurovision Song Contest back to Israel. And she succeeded. And next year in May, in Tel Aviv, we will all meet to celebrate the good values of the Eurovision Song Contest and we will do it here, with the help of broadcaster KAN and the Israeli team.

The 2019 Eurovision theme art will be unveiled in due course along with the official list of the participating countries in Tel Aviv.

The 2019 Eurovision theme and slogan will be implemented and endorsed throughout Tel Aviv and Israel in order to promote the contest. The theme art and graphics will be very much part of the branding, city dressing and live  shows!

The 2019 Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to be held on 14, 10 and 18 May at the Expo International Convention Centre in Tel Aviv, Israel.
