Malta in Eurovision

Malta debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1971 and is yet to win the competition. The country achieved its best result in the contest in 2002 and 2005 when it placed 2nd.

In 2018, Malta was represented by Christabelle and her entry Taboo. Despite an energetic performance, the Mediterranean island failed to qualify for the Grand Final.
