Armenia: It’s Sevak Khanagyan for Lisbon!

We finally have our Armenian representative after a tough Depi Evratesil selection week; it’s going to be Sevak for Armenia in Lisbon next May!

Tonight’s last Depi Evratesil show has been won by Sevak who will go on to represent the nation in Lisbon.

What happened tonight?

Following the opening of the voting lines for viewers at home, an Armenian folk group performed a medley of Eurovision hits including Greece 2005 & 2008, Macedonia 2006, Norway 2009 and Austria 2014.

Notably, the 2017 Armenian Eurovision representative Artsvik was present and performed after the closure of the voting lines. She partially performed her Eurovision entry Fly with me and some of her new songs.

They also showcased their Junior Eurovision success by showing a compilation of all their entries and confirmed their participation in the upcoming contest in Minsk next November and said they are looking forward to organise a Junior version of Depi Evrtaesil to choose their entry for the competition.

Results breakdown

The winner of Depi Evratesil was decided by a 50% jury vote and another 50% televote, the overall highest score wins the competition and goes to Lisbon.
