Greece: Demy releases her new Greek single M’ ekdikeise

One month after the Grand Final of the 62nd Eurovision Song Contest at Kyiv, the Greek entrant Demy becomes one of the first 2017 participants to release a new single after Eurovision.

The “Princess of Greek pop” got straight back to work right after returning to Greece in May. After recording new songs and taking part in numerous photo shoots, her new single M’ ekdikeise (You’re rebuking me) got released today on Greek airplay. It is an atmospheric pop song with ballad elements.

Music is written by the famous singer George Sabanis and lyrics are by the popular lyricist Eleana Vrahali, who both have collaborated with the biggest names of the Greek music industry.

The Greek singer also became a cover artist in the women’s Mirror magazine for the July edition. From this occasion, she uploaded a picture from her photo shoot on her official Facebook page:

Demy took part under the Greek flag in the 62nd Eurovision Song Contest with the entry This is love. After progressing from the 1st semi-final to the Grand Final, she ended in 19th place with 77 points.
