One more surprise for an upcoming Greek event! It was earlier announced by the Greek music TV station MAD that the Bulgarian represantive and runner-up at Eurovision 2017 Kristian Kostov will fly to Athens to give the present at the MAD Video Music Awards 2017 event on 27 June.

Bulgaria visits Greece again!

It isn’t the first time that a Bulgarian entrant visits that event, as Poli Genova had also performed last year. Having earned a 4th place in Stockholm, the singer performed her entry If love was a crime in both English and Greek lyrics, together with this year’s Greek entrant Demy. Afterwards, Demy released the Greek version of that song, titled Isovia mazi (Lifelong together).

Here’s the performance of the two Eurovision entrants at MAD VMA 2016:

It’s still unknown whether Kristian Kostov is going to perform alone on stage his entry Beautiful mess or along with a Greek singer. In that case, we’ll probably enjoy a Greek version of his ballad too.

The nominees for the given awards were announced a few days ago, with several former Greek and Cypriot Eurovision entrants being amongst them. Performers like Sakis Rouvas, Helena Paparizou and Demy will be also present at the event. You can take a look at the entire list of the singers that will be present here (in Greek).

The event will be held on 27 June at the TaeKwonDo court in Palaio Faliro, Athens.
