This year’s French representative, Alma, was visited by the 2015 Eurovision winner Måns Zelmerlöw in Paris, and the two enjoyed a jamming session together.
In the video, Måns Zelmerlöw and Alma sing together while a man plays a guitar, and Måns even sings part of Alma’s 2017 Eurovision entry Requiem.
In a later post on Facebook, Måns said he’s keeping his fingers crossed for Alma at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017.
Alma is not the first act to be endorsed by successful past contestants this year. Earlier this year the Greek participant, Demy, was given vocal support from both Ani Lorak (Ukraine 2008) and Sergey Lazarev (Russia 2016).
Alma will represent France at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 with her song Requiem. She will compete in the Grand Final, which takes place on Saturday 13th May 2017.
