Calling all our ESC Today readers in Australia – how would YOU like to be a Eurovision insider…

The Australian broadcaster SBS (Special Broadcasting Service) has launched a competition with a prize of a lifetime for a Eurovision Song Contest fan.

The lucky winner will travel to Stockholm to work as a Eurovision reporter across the SBS social media platforms, with the opportunity to take a friend on this special journey.  SBS will cover both return flights, accommodation and airport transfers for ten days in the lead up to and during the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest.

The only requirements for the role of Australia’s first Eurovision Insider are enthusiasm, creativity and social media knowhow.

So, how DO you enter?

In a video lasting no longer than one minute, please tell SBS why you are just the person to be their insider.  Entrants must be aged 18 years or above, and be free to travel to (and be in) Stockholm from 6 to 16 May 2016.  The video must be shot on a personal digital device such as a smartphone or tablet and uploaded to YouTube, with the closing date for entries being Friday 1 April at midnight (AEDT).

Please visit sbs.com.au to enter, with all of the competition’s Terms and Conditions listed here.
