San Marino: Song presentation on 9 March

The Sammarinese entry for the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest will be presented in just over a week’s time on the 9 March, SMRTV has revealed.

Following the announcement of the multinational team behind San Marino’s entry for the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest, recording and filming of the upcoming entry has been underway in a number of locations around Europe.

Earlier today, San Marino’s representative, Serhat, released a behind the scenes image of the official music video for the country’s upcoming entry via his Twitter page.

SMRTV will officially present San Marino’s entry on the 9 March along with the official video, as was confirmed earlier today by the Sammarinese Head of Delegation, Alessandro Capicchioni.

Turkish singer, Serhat, was internally selected to represent the micro-nation at the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest and will succeed Anita Simoncini & Michele Perniola in becoming the country’s next entrant.

San Marino’s song entry song entry for the contest was composed by Turkish composer Olcayto Ahmet Tugsuz alongside Greek songwriter Nektarios Tyrakis, with the title of the single yet to be announced.
