It is just a few hours to go until the Te Deum will open up the 5th edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest and children from 17 countries will be performing their songs at the 2007 Junior Eurovision Song Contest staged this year in Rotterdam's Ahoy.
At 20.15 hours the show will be televised around Europe's Eurovision network and the Internet. Viewers will be able to vote for their favourite songs to select the most successful Junior Eurovision Song of 2007.
The 17 delegations including the young artists are arriving at thevenuefrom their hotels and are now preparing themselves for the big show tonight, that is make up, dress fittings, warming up exercises for the dancers.
The atmosphere is very relaxed but also very exciting and friendly. Spectators are also arriving at the Ahoy and the press centre more and more fills up with journalists from various countries covering the event for their countries' media.
