We're only a couple of hours away form this year's Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Singers are getting dressed as they're about to rehearse the song One world all together one more time. In the meantime some young singers come running from their dressing rooms to give their last interviews to the media, whose interest is getting bigger and bigger.
During the last couple of weeks there have been several online polls to predict the winner. Today, the esctoday.com teamasked the international press in the Ahoy to predict a winner as well. We give you the outcome of some online polls, together with our own press poll.
The readers of escsweden.com picked the Netherlands as the big favourite for the title, followed closely by Serbia and Sweden. Armenia was placed fourth and Belgium fifth. Georgia and Belarusare the least favourite according to the Swedish fans.
The Belgian website belgovision.com practically has the same outcome. The Belgians believe that their Dutch neighbours have the best papers for a victory tonight. Sweden ended up second in the poll and Armenia got the bronze medal.
According to esckaz.com Armenia will win the fifth edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Runner up will be Ukraine, followed by F.Y.R. Macedonia in third place.
The readers of our Dutch partnersite songfestival.web-log.nl predict a Dutch victory, which doesn't come as a surprise of course. The other top ratings go to Belgium, Armenia, Serbia and F.Y.R. Macedonia. Surprisingly, Russia finished in seventeenth position.
