Trijntje Oosterhuis, the Dutch representative for the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna, has released the official video for her song Walk along. The video appeared on the official Dutch Eurovision website Songfestival.nl.
AVROTROS, the Dutch Eurovision broadcaster, was one of the first to announce their representative for this year’s contest when they confirmed in november that Trijntje Oosterhuis would fly the flag for the Netherlands in Austria. In December, the singer already premiered the song on Dutch radio and reached the number 1 spot in the iTunes chart of the country. The singer is busy preparing for her performance in Austria and in the meantime recorded a video for her Eurovision song Walk along, co-written bij Anouk, who represented the Netherlands with her song Birds in 2013, reaching a respectable 9th position.
Just like The Common Linnets (who reached the second place in Eurovision with Calm after the storm for the Netherlands) last year, Trijntje released the complete video in black and white and she is seen singing and dancing to the song, with shots of a man, her love interest. No changes to the song have been made. The video was recorded in the first week of March. This week, the Dutch singer was busy again recording the postcard that will be shown before her performance in the first semi final in May.
