Slovenia will decide on it's Eurovision Song Contest entry on February 3rd. The news was confirmed to OGAE Slovenia this evening by the national broadcaster, RTV Slovenija. EMA 2008 will have two semi finals and a national final on February 3rd. 20 songs will participate and ten will take part in the final.

RTV Slovenija will hold a three-show selection process. The dates are:

• First semi final: Friday 1st February 19:55 CET
• Second semi final: Saturday 2nd February 19:55 CET
• EMA 2008 final: Sunday 3rd February, 19:55 CET

Entries must be submitted by this Friday 30th November. After that passes, a special panel will determine the 20 songs that will participate in the competition. Ten will participate in each semi final, with the top five from each qualify for the final.
