The Netherlands joins the party leading up to the 60th anniversary of the Eurovision Song Contest with a grand Eurovision-show in the Amsterdam Ziggo Dome on Friday 15 May 2015. A number of international Eurovision-stars will share the stage with a host of former Dutch Eurovision representatives during the concert Songfestival Sing Along.

Emmelie De Forest (2013), Alexander Rybak (2009), Johnny Logan (1980, 1987, and composer 1984, 1992), Sandra Kim (1986), and Brotherhood Of Man (1976) are confirmed as acts for Songfestival Sing Along. They will join Lenny Kuhr (1969), Sandra Reemer (1972 with Andres, 1976 solo, 1979 as Xandra, 1983 background singer), Maggie McNeal (1974 with Mouth, 1980 solo), Frizzle Sizzle (1986), Edsilia Rombley (1998, 2007), Marlayne (1999), and Esther Hart (2003). Other names will be revealed. The show will also be hosted by Marlayne Sahupala, who represented The Netherlands at the Eurovision Song Contest 1999 in Jerusalem with the song One goood reason.

Johnny Logan is very exited about performing at Songfestival Sing Along, the biggest Eurovision-show ever to be held in The Netherlands. As he told SBS6 Show Nieuws:

I can’t wait to be a part of the Songfestival Sing Along in the Ziggo Dome on May 15th. It’s gonna be a big fun night with great Songfestivalhits from the last 60 years, from Waterloo to Save Your Kisses for Me.

Songfestival Sing Along will be held on Friday 15 May 2015 in the Ziggo Dome, Amsterdam, and will start 20.30 CET. Official tickets can be bought via Eventim.nl.

Although not yet officially confirmed, the show might also be aired on television, most likely on Dutch channel SBS6.
