The second heat of Sweden’s national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 comes to you tonight, live from Malmö Arena, home of the Eurovision Song Contest 2013.

About The Show

The top two entries from each of Melodifestovalen’s four heats will be selected by televote to progress to the competition’s grand final at the Friends Arena in Stockholm on the 14 March. The eight entries placed in 3rd and 4th positions following each heat’s televote will then compete in the Andra Chansen round for the last four places in the show’s final, which will take place on 7 March at the Helsingborg arena.

The story so far

In last week’s heat at Göteborg’s Scandinavium Arena, the two acts making it straight to the final were former Melodifestivalen winners Jessica Andersson, with the song Can’t hurt me now, and Eric Saade, with the song Sting. Competing again at the Andra Chansen round are Dolly Style with Hello Hi, and Behrang Miri feat. Victor Crone with Det rår vi inte för.

Tonight

Seven more acts will perform for the Swedish televote tonight. They are –

• Emelie Irewald – Där och då med dig
• Samir & Viktor – Groupie
• Neverstore – If I was God for one day
• Marie Bergman & Sanne Solomonsen – Nonetheless
• Magnus Calrsson – Möt mig i Gamla Stan
• Mariette – Don’t stop believing
