Attenzione! Notte 4 of the Sanremo Festival 2015 has just concluded, and our Grand Finalists are known!
Notte 4 saw all twenty Campioni category artists perform again at the Italian music extravaganza, which is celebrating its 65th year. The winner of the Grand Final of the Campioni category has the option to represent Italy at the Vienna-hosted Eurovision Song Contest of 2015.
The sixteen finalists from the Campioni (Big Artists) category are listed as follows, next to their successful entries. Taking to the famous Teatro Ariston stage tomorrow are:
- Nesli – Buona fortuna amore
- Nina Zilli – Sola
- Grazia dI Michele e Mauro Coruzzi / Platinette – Io sono una finestra
- Bianca Atzei – Il solo al mondo
- Dear Jack – Il mondo esplode
- Irene Grandi – Un vento senza nome
- Alex Britti – Un attimo importante
- Moreno – Oggi ti parlo così
- Annalisa – Una finestra tra le stelle
- Gianluca Grignani – Sogni infranti
- Marco Masini – Che giorno è
- Chiara – Straordinario
- Il Volo – Grande amore
- Nek – Fatti avanti amore
- Malika Ayane – Adesso e qui
- Lorenzo Fragola – Siamo uguali
Lara Fabian, Raf, Anna Tatangelo and Biggio e Mandelli were eliminated from the competition.
The finalists were determined using 40% public televote, 30% expert Jury vote and 30% audience vote. This evening’s votes were combined with the votes from the first two nights of the Festival.
The Nuove Proposte (Newcomers) category was decided this evening, with victory for Giovanni Caccamo over Kutso in the Superfinal. The same voting system as the Campioni category was used to crown Giovanni Caccamo the champion. Watch the official video for his winning song Ritornerò da te below:
An Italian institution, this year’s Sanremo Festival commenced on Tuesday 10th February. A RAI production, a webcast was available via the national broadcaster’s website. The show is being screened via the official RAI TV app, and tomorrow’s Grand Final will also be shown live via www.eurovision.tv
