This Saturday November 3, Marc Moulin and his group will give the last concert of their “I am you” Belgian Tour at the De Singel hall, in Antwerp. “I am you” is Moulin's latest to date solo album, released earlier this year. Marc Moulin was one of the three members of Télex, who represented Belgium in 1980, with the first ever song on the contest itself, Euro-Vision.

At the time, Télex was one of the most famous bands of the "electronic" European scene, alongside Kraftwerk, from Germany. Thetrio which includes Moulin (playing keyboards), Dan Lacksman and Michel Moers – used to perform funny pop-electro pieces, like their own version of Rock around the clock. Euro-Vision was supposed to give a pleasant view on what the contest was, from backstage… but, in spite of a very good draw (last), the entry failed to impress the juries, which gave them 14 points and a 17th place (out of 18 countries) as a result. Still, the group led a respectable career and released a total of 11 albums. Their latest workas a groupdates back to 2006 : How do you dance includes a version of J'aime la vie, the winning entry by Sandra Kim. Marc Moulin has collaborated with many other artists of different influences.

His musical work has eventually been the theme of a book, written by Belgian journalist Thierry Coljon, under the title "Les neuf vies de Marc Moulin" (the nine lives of Marc Moulin), éditions Luc Pire.
