The first semifinal of the Swedish national selection for the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest has just ended at the Scandinavium in Gothenburg, the home of the 1985 Eurovision Song Contest.

The story so far

Sweden has won the Eurovision Song Contest on 5 occasions. The first time was with the legendary Abba back in 74. Past winners have included Herreys, Carola, Charlotte (Nillson) Perrelli and more recently Loreen. They achieved a very respectable 3rd place last year with Sanna Nielsen and her entry Undo.
