TRM, the Moldovan national broadcaster will be holding an audition today where a total of 50 acts will perform their entries in front of a special jury who will be responsible to make their deliberation and shorlist the entries to 24. Hence the 24 selected acts will proceed to compete in the 2015 Moldovan Eurovision national selection- O Melodi Pentru Europa 2015.
The live auditions will kick off at 11:00 CET today and you can follow them on TRM’s official website.

A total of 68 entries were submitted to TRM initially, TRM then shorlisted them to 50.
The live audition show will be held today Saturday 17 January 2015 where a special jury will decide which 24 acts should qualify to the semi-final stage of the selection. The 24 acts will then be split into 2 semi-finals – 12 acts per semi-final – which will take place on the 24 and 26 February 2015.
8 acts will qualify from each semi-final, meaning that a total of 16 acts will compete in the grand final of O Melodie Pentru Europa on the 28 February 2015. The winning act, which will be decided via a 50/50 televote-jury deliberation, will then go on to represent Moldova at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest in the host city of Vienna, Austria.
Cristina Scarlat was selected via the Moldovan national selection O Melodie Pentru Europa 2014 to represent her country at the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest. With her entry Wild soul, Cristina ended in 16th position in the first semi-final, therefore failing to qualify to the grand final.
