DR, the Danish national broadcaster, has confirmed that Denmark will compete at the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest in Austria.
Denmark thus joins the list of countries who have so far confirmed their participation at Eurovision 2027.
The 2027 Danish Eurovision entry and act will be determined via the traditional Danish national final Dansk Melodi Grand Prix.
DR, the Danish national broadcaster has published the rules and regulations for DMGP 2027 and opened the song submission window for the Danish national final. Artists wishing to partake in the competition can submit their entries and submit their applications here. The song submission window will close on 25 October 2026.
DMGP 2027 will be held at the Sydbank Arena in Kolding on Saturday 13th February 2027 . The show will be broadcast live on DR 1 and DRTV at 20:00 CET.
Denmark in Eurovision
Denmark joined the Eurovision Song Contest in 1957 and has won the competition thrice ( 1963, 2000, 2013). In 2026 Soren Torpegaard Lund represented Denmark at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna with his mega hit ‘For Vi Gar Hjem’.
