Severina, the Croatian 2006 Eurovision Song Contest entrant, has released a new video clip for her song Gardelin. The song will not be in Severina's new cd which is expected to be released in December but it can be found in the Slovenian film Pjetlov doručak (Rooster's breakfast) where Severina holds a supporting role.

The film- Petelinji zajtrk in Slovenian- premiered at the Sarajevo Film Festival and it is based on one of the most popular contemporary Slovenian novels by Ferio Lainšček. Severina plays herself in a supporting role. Gardalin is a slow, emotional ballad composed by Saša Lošić Loša, and the video clip, which contains mostly scenes from the film, was directed by Marko Naberšnik.

Severina also stars in another film which is currentlyat the stage of post production. The film is called Duhovi Sarajeva (Ghosts of Sarajevo).

Thanks to Johnny Logan and Hold me now I fell in love with the Eurovision Song Contest, a love that's been going strong ever since with undiminished passion. My first memories date back to 1977 and the lyrics of Rock bottom, Dschinghis Khan and A ba ni bi are still engraved in my brain.

I joined esctoday.com in 2006 as a junior editor after being invited by Barry Viniker, I soon became Senior Editor and during the 2007 contest in Helsinki I was appointed Head of Communications. Today I hold the post of Head of Human Resources and I am proud to be working with the best editorial team in the world.
