LRT, the Lithuanian national broadcaster has released the names of the 12 acts taking part in the upcoming Lithuanian national selection – Eurovizijos 2015.

Over the past number of months, artists and composers have been eligible to submit themselves and their entries to LRT. A total of 12 artists have been selected to partake in the upcoming Lithuanian national selection.

12. Edgaras Lubys 

Twelve songs have also been selected to appear in the Lithuanian national selection. The songs will be introduced throughout the selection with the official Lithuanian song entry being selected on the 14 February 2015. The artist who will perform the official Lithuanian entry will be selected on the 21 February 2015.

Members of the jury panel who will help to evaluate the artists include Ramūnas Zilnys, Edmundas Seilius, Audrius Giržadas and Linas Adomaitis.

The Lithuanian national selection, Eurovizijos 2015, will kick off on the 3 January 2015 where the artists will first be presented to the public. A total of 10 shows will be broadcast, 2 of which will include a special Best of Eurovizijos 2015 show as well as a special concert for the winner.

Vilija Matačiūnaitė was selected via the national selection Eurovizijos 2014 to represent Lithuania at the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest in the host city of Copenhagen, Denmark. With her song Attention, Vilija received 36 points in the semi-final, failing to qualify to the grand final.
