Tonight, 12 December 2014, Dutch Eurovision 2015 representative Trijntje Oosterhuis performed her 2015 Eurovision-entry, Walk along, for the first time live on TV. She did this in the popular Dutch TV-show The Voice Of Holland on RTL 4. Trijntje is also one of the coaches in this program. Meanwhile, Walk along has already reached the number one position in the Dutch iTunes-chart.
Trijntje Oosterhuis performed her ESC-song Walk along, which is written by Dutch artist Anouk (ESC 2013 in Malmö, Sweden), together two female back-up vocalists.
Trijntje says that her performance in The Voice Of Holland is by no means representative of her stage-act during Eurovision 2015, on which she is already working. She states that Walk along is a song she is very comfortable with, it feels right for her, and she will give her best as an artist in Vienna.
Trijntjes song was officially presented yesterday morning, Thursday 11 December 2014, in the radio-show Gouden Uren on NPO Radio 2.
Trijntje Oosterhuis (Amsterdam, 1973) is a popular artist in The Netherlands, who has enjoyed success both nationally and internationally. She was chosen to represent The Netherlands at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in Vienna, Austria, by a special selection committee of broadcaster AVROTROS.
Trijntje succeeds The Common Linnets (Ilse DeLange, also a coach in The Voice, and Waylon) as Dutch Eurovision-representative. The Common Linnets earned the second place at the ESC 2014 in Copenhagen, Denmark, with 238 points, with the song Calm after the storm.
