The Norwegian winner of the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest, Alexander Rybak, is to play in a New Year’s concert in Oslo.

The concert has been organised by Ungdomssymfonikerne, a Norwegian youth orchestra, and will feature violin solos from Alexander RybakEivind Ringstad and Arve TellefsenSølvguttene will be the featured choir, and Bjarte Engeset will conduct the orchestra.

The concert will take place in Oslo Konserthus on Saturday 3rd January at 18.00 CET.  You can buy tickets here or on the door (depending on attendance on the day).

Alexander Rybak won the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest with his song Fairytale with a record-breaking 387 points.
