Elnur Huseynov, who represented Azerbaijan at the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest, has auditioned in the Turkish version of The Voice (O Ses Türkiye).

Auditioning at the blind audition stage of the show, Elnur Huseynov performed his own version of the song Latch, originally by Disclosure and Sam Smith. Elnur made an impression on all of the judges – Gökhan Özoğuz (Turkey 2004 as part of Athena), Mazhar Alanson & Özkan Uğur (Turkey 1985 & 1988 as part of MFÖ), Hadise (Turkey 2009) and Ebru Gündeş – with every judge pushing their buttons and turning their chairs. With all of the judges showing their interest in working with the singer, Elnur chose to be coached by Ebru Gündeş and therefore qualified to the next stage of the contest.

Elnur was then asked to perform 3 more songs during this audition, much to the judges and audiences delight. You can check out Elnur’s audition below!
