The 2014 Austrian Eurovision winner Conchita Wurst has given an exclusive video interview to ESCToday where she speaks about her latest single and videoclip Heroes.

ESCToday’s Maltese editor Luke Borg had the honour of meeting up with the Queen of Austria aka Conchita Wurst last week at the MESC 2015- Maltese Eurovision national final at Marsa, Malta. We caught up with the 2014 Austrian Eurovision winner and found out more about her new single Heroes.

The official videoclip of Heroes was released a week today and has been viewed more than 433,000 times already. Heroes is Conchita’s first original single release after her Eurovision victory.

Conchita was selected to represent Austria at the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest with her entry Rise like a Phoenix. She gave Austria its 2nd Eurovision victory in Copenhangen last May thus bringing the contest back on Austrian soil for the second time in Eurovision history. Her  charismatic personality and personna has won the hearts of millions as far afield as Mumbai and Rio de Janeiro.

The 2015 Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to be held on 19, 21 and 23 May at the Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna, Austria.
