Ortal, the 2005 French Eurovision entrant in Ukraine, is multiplying projects. In parallel with the band Back to Amy for which she is the lead singer (see here), Ortal is now also starring in a new mini web-series titled Mythogirls, the story of 3 eccentric girls who fantasize about the lives they do not have.
Mythogirls is a mini web-series made of short, funny and dynamic sketches dealing with the biases in our society. Amy Goodvice (aka Ortal), Katty Poory and Crissy Elliot are 3 friends, poor comedians and singers. Besides their apartment, they share one common dream: Celebrity! True mythomaniacs, they invent themselves a life full of glitters, lying to themselves and to each other, living their lives in the shadow of their idols, ready to do everything it takes to look like them!
Besides the sketches you can watch following this link, the 3 girls also perform songs. After the track Money, the Mythogirls unveiled the new song J’crois pas non ! which is definitely made to have fun on the dance floors!
Ortal represented France on the occasion of the 50th Eurovision Song Contest held in Kyiv in 2005. Her entry Chacun pense à soi placed 23rd.
